1946 –
David Arnold is a British historian and academic who specializes in the history of modern South Asia, with a particular interest in colonialism, science and medicine, environmental history, technology, and the history of disease. He is currently Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Warwick, having previously been Professor of South Asian History at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
