Fiona Gell

Fiona Rachel Gell is a Manx marine biologist and writer. Working for the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture (DEFA), she oversaw the establishment of the Isle of Man's ten Marine nature reserves among other work. Isle of Man Today called her "one of the leading voices fighting to protect our island's marine surroundings". Her debut book Spring Tides: Exploring Marine Life on the Isle of Man was published in 2022.
