Flake of Snow

[From the cover: "*In Flake of Snow, Edward Sagarin brilliantly evokes the realities of childhood and adolescence. So accessible, yet so spellbinding is Dr. Sagarin's novel that it is hard to remember that is an eminent criminologist, as, like a flower in the springtime, he records the passing of the hero's young life. This is a book you will not be able to put down*." Flora Rheta Schreiber, author of Sybil] I found Flake of Snow on a remainder table in 1980 and recognized the author's photo on the back cover. Fifteen years earlier, as my sociology professor at City College of New York, Edward Sagarin had forced me to look beneath the surface. In Flake of Snow, a wonderful work of fiction, he creates a story line that is as simple and as complex as you want it to be. Either way, you will be both haunted and uplifted.
