Java message service

"This book is a thorough introduction to JMS, the standard Java API for MOM systems. It shows you how to build applications using the point-to-point (queue) and publish-and-subscribe (topic) models; how to use features like transactions and durable subscriptions to make your applications reliable; and how to use messaging within Enterprise JavaBeans. It also gives a preview of a new EJB type, the message-driven bean, which will be part of EJB 2.0, and discusses the integration of messaging into J2EE. Finally, it discusses messaging architectures and how they apply to real-world issues such as scalability, security, and deployment across the Internet."--Jacket.
