Forecasting retirement needs and retirement wealth

"Forecasting Retirement Needs and Retirement Wealth, drawing on the latest information available on health, wealth, and retirement in America, offers new perspectives on ways to support the expanding population of older citizens. The contributors consider how the concept and process of retirement is evolving. They show that new paths to retirement are emerging, paths that involve "bridge" jobs and gradual transitions through various states of employment.

They explore the related and equally important, though difficult, problem of determining what resources people need during retirement and consider ways to think about how much to save for old age."--BOOK JACKET.
