The IVP women's Bible commentary

"What does the Bible have to say to a young mother at home nursing her baby? What role models for intelligent, talented women can we find in Scripture? What was everyday life like for women in biblical times? What does Scripture have to say to women by viewing Scripture through their concerns and insights?".

"This creative effort searches the Scriptures in light of the many theological, biblical, sociological and psychological concerns of women. It will prove of value to pastors in preparing sermons, to Bible study leaders and teachers in preparing lessons, to college and seminary students in researching study assignments, and to individual readers in broadening their understanding of the richness of biblical revelation."--BOOK JACKET.
