You Should've Heard Just What I Seen

"You Should've Heard Just What I Seen is a unique exploration of the ineluctable and ever-expanding link between visual art and music. The book brings together an unrivaled collection of artworks and texts that demonstrates how an engagement with music for many contemporary artists - as well as for others who make their way in the art world - has never been more vital, personal, or openly expressed. In You Should've Heard Just What I Seen, fifty-one artists, curators, gallerists, and musicians offer original photographs, collages, drawings, conversations, poems, prose, songs, and archival documents that will enable you to see what you hear and to hear what you see."--Publisher description from cover.
