Not the Faintest Trace

New Zealand, 1877. Two young men disappear from a Scandinavian settlement. Their families hire sergeant Frank Hardy, a battle-hardened veteran of Her Majesty's 57th Regiment of Foot, to find them, living or dead. When he and a young woman from the settlement are targeted by a ferocious, tattooed killer with a deadly tomahawk he wonders if his presence at a wartime atrocity eight years earlier has resurfaced. Can he find the bodies and stay alive until he does?
