Isidor Todoran

Dintre acestea, pomenim aici doar reflecţiile sale despre raporturile dintre cultură şi tehnică, raporturi aflate astăzi, mai mult decât oricând, în centrul vieţii noastre--From an article published in Făclia, April 20, 2018

The latest title from the collection Personalities of Babeş-Bolyai University, launched in 2017, brings to the public the theologian Isidor Todoran. As the coordinator of the volume, Father Professor Ioan Chirilă, pointed out," Professor Dr. Isidor Todoran is an example of collaboration of theology with the secular University ", especially since, at the time when he lived and worked in the academic environment, the faculties of theology in Cluj were not included in the Babeş-Bolyai University, as at present. Disciple of the famous philosopher Didor Roşca from Cluj, graduate and doctor in Philosophy in Cluj, in parallel with his theological studies, Isidor Todoran stood out as one of the most important Romanian dogmatists of the 20th century. The volume dedicated to him was structured in two parts, namely a part of studies and articles that paint his life and analyze his work, and a second part of restitutions, which reproduces some researches signed by Father Todoran, studies such as re keeps up to date. Of these, we mention here only his reflections on the relations between culture and technology, relations that are today, more than ever, at the center of our lives - From an article published in Făclia, April 20, 2018
