Mauricio Negro presents a compilation of ten tales written by members or descendants of different indigenous peoples. All tales have their own glossary, in order to elucidate the native words used in the stories, as well as providing some background information about the ten mentioned indigenous nations, more specifically the Mebengôkre Kayapó, Saterê-Mawé, Maraguá, Pirá-Tapuya Waíkhana, Balatiponé Umutina, Taurepang, Umuko Masa Desana, Guarani Mbyá, Krenak and Kurâ Bakairi nations.
