Composizione Italiana in Diacronia

This volume provides a detailed overview of compounding in Italian, from the earliest stages until today. Based on an analysis of data from different corpora, it describes the compound words that Italian has created in the course of the centuries, highlighting elements of continuity with Latin as well as innovative aspects.
